Seperation

by Russ Warner
(Wheatland, WY)

My name is Russ, and I ask your prayers for my wife and I. After a very stressful summer and fall last year, my wife Dawny and I separated in December (2009). This has been a very difficult time for me, and I would like your prayers for us.

I have recently read two books, Love Dare, and Love and Respect, trying to get some idea of what I can do to get our marriage and lives back on track. I also have the movie Fireproof. All three are awesome media, and I highly recommend them. I miss my wife and daughter very much, and am miserable without them. I worry constantly, I pray constantly, and while I hope and pray, I just can't seem to get across to Dawny. I do fear that there is some outside influence coming across to Dawny (from her employer), and I pray that God will shut it out, and bring forgiveness to her heart. I'm far from perfect, we all are, but I do pray to be forgiven, and that we will be together again soon.

Please pray for us, that Dawny will forgive me, and that God will give us love and compassion for each other as a family.

I work in a cattle feedlot as a feed truck driver, and love my job. I believe God led me here, and I have received many blessings from some wonderful people. I work with a great crew. Good people. God is so awesome. Here's an example.

I was in Cheyenne, WY., trying to get home to Wheatland, WY. I was out of money, out of gas, so I stood at the Flying J truck stop with a sign asking for fuel money to get home ( this was at the end of January). I was feeling pretty low at this point, and really humble. After a couple of people stopped and gave me some money, a man and his wife (from Cheyenne) stopped and asked me where I was headed. I told them home to Wheatland, and the man reaches through the window and hands me a fifty dollar bill! You can only imagine my surprise! I had asked God for help home, and he provided. Incidentally, Wheatland is only 70 miles from Cheyenne. This was more than enough for my trip home. What a blessing.

I thank God every day for the blessing of life, but mostly I thank God and Jesus for being with me, for walking with me. How God can tolerate and still love a sinner is hard for me to imagine, but I am thankful.

In Christ's great love, I thank you for our thoughts and prayers. God bless you all.
