Discouraging Walk in Christ

I am an 18 year old youth male born in Brooklyn NY, and now i am currently living in Toronto, ON CANADA. Through out my life i have come across some hard times. My father passed away on my 8th birthday and my mother passed away when i was ten. Just to also let you know i am Haitian and this tragedy that happened in Haiti has wiped out my other five siblings and also grand parents, that has been living in Haiti. I keep all of this to my self realizing that i have come across some really big high roads. I am slowly getting discourage to walk away from Christ but i know i made a decision when i got baptized that i would never go back to my old ways. And that promise i really want to keep.
